Machine or Hand Applique 

Let’s play with swirls and fun flowers to make this whimsical oval wreath for any occasion! Linda’s glue stick appliqué technique is fun, easy and stress free for beginner to advanced appliquers. You'll be very surprised at how much you "will" get done by the end of class and will be going home with a positive experience and ready to finish this piece.

Kit includes:

· Water soluble applique stabilizer patterns with pre-drawn designs

· Step by step Photo Instructions and Master Pattern

· Appliqué Needle

· Water Soluble Glue Stick

· Photograph, Master Pattern and Project Bag

· Kokeshi Toothpicks and Paper Clips

· Linda does a lot of the prep work for you

What you will need to bring: 

· Basic Sewing Supplies

· Notebook size cardboard for gluing surface.

· Thimble if you use one

· Staple remover (very important)

· Fabric and Paper cutting Scissors

· Masking Tape, Small Trash Bag, Scotch Tape

· 50 wt. Sewing Thread to match fabric

· Washcloth inside of plastic baggie

All fabric should be pre-washed

· Background: 22”x22” Light colored fabric

· Flowers, Leaves and Swirls: 1/8 yards of different color fabrics

Linda teaches machine and hand appliqué in class.

It’s your choice to bring your machine or not.

Program Chairman: Irons and Ironing Boards are needed for this class.

Sewing Machinists: Be sure your sewing machine is in good working condition, free of lint buildup, and a new universal needle inserted. Open toe applique foot is essential to bring.
